Dr. Landis, High School Principal

Hello, Panther Nation!

I am excited to begin my second year as principal of Bloomsburg Area High School for the 2025–2026 school year! It has been a true privilege to serve this dedicated community of educators, students, and families, and I am grateful for the warm welcome and support I received throughout my first year.

I bring 14 years of experience in education, beginning as a secondary mathematics teacher before moving into administration. My administrative journey spans across K–12 education, including three years as co-principal at the secondary level. I am deeply committed to the BASD mission and passionate about fostering a culture where teachers love their jobs and students thrive in school.

I am a proud graduate of Parkland High School in Allentown, PA. I earned my undergraduate and master’s degrees in Secondary Education – Mathematics from Clarion University of Pennsylvania (now PennWest). My K–12 Principal Certificate was obtained through Point Park University, and I completed my Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership at Delaware Valley University.

As we enter this new school year together, I look forward to building on the progress we made last year and continuing the tradition of excellence at Bloomsburg Area High School. Together, we will create a supportive and inspiring environment where every student can reach their fullest potential. Here’s to another fantastic year ahead!
